Privacy Policy

DWELLTYPE is built to collect as little as possible. There is no account, sign-up, or login for using the typing practice itself — this page describes the little that is collected.

What stays on your device

Your preferences — font size, translation (NIV/KJV), theme — and your day count ("Days in the Word") are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data erases them.

What we collect

Admin accounts. A small number of people who help run DWELLTYPE have login accounts (email + password, managed by Supabase Auth) to manage verse content. This only applies to admin operators, not visitors to the site.

Donations. The "Give via PayPal" link takes you to PayPal's own site to complete a donation. We don't receive, process, or store your payment details or donor information — that happens entirely on PayPal, under PayPal's own privacy policy.

Standard hosting logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Supabase) may briefly log technical data (e.g. IP address, timestamp) as a normal part of serving web requests. We don't access or use these logs beyond routine operation and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

No advertising, no ad trackers, no third-party tracking pixels, no selling or sharing of data with advertisers. No account is required or offered for the typing practice itself.

Children's privacy

DWELLTYPE doesn't collect personal information from visitors of any age — there's no sign-up, no age verification, and nothing to collect, whether the visitor is an adult or a child.
