How to Use DWELLTYPE

This isn't a race, so there's no need to rush. A few small habits help the words go deeper:

  • Type slowly. Let each word settle before you move to the next.
  • Sit with the verse after you type it — read it again, and let it speak.
  • Choose a few verses rather than many. Depth matters more than distance.
  • Try writing it out by hand, too — a pen slows you down in a good way.

On a phone or tablet, turn off swipe/glide typing (e.g. Gboard's "Glide Typing") for your keyboard. It fills in a whole predicted word from a gesture instead of the letters you actually type, which works against the letter-by-letter checking this exercise is built around.
